The mission of Samaritan's Grace is to provide hope for the homeless and others in need in Chattanooga, and to help them establish themselves as productive members of the Chattanooga community.

Many organizations in Chattanooga do a good job of helping the homeless and others in need. Our aim is to engage even more people in this ministry. Guided by the parable of the Good Samaritan, (Luke 10:25-37), our vision is to help the average person answer the question, "what can I do to really help a Person In Need?" Samaritan's Grace provides this person with redeemable meal vouchers providing a quality meals, along with caring and supportive assistance by trained professionals and case workers.

Samaritan’s Grace is more than a meal. It is a support network. A major focus of our Innkeepers will be to network and collaborate with other organizations that provide services to the homeless and others in need that we can't provide.

By working Together we can do More

Enlist

Working with local companies, nonprofit organizations and area churches, we plan to enlist folks who work downtown to give vouchers to Persons in Need redeemable for meals throughout the city.

Connect

Health meals are just the first step in connecting with the Person In Need. The Innkeeper will mentor the Person In Need and provide follow-up information to the Good Samaritan if desired. The Good Samaritan has the option to stay engaged, checking in with the mentor, sharing a meal with the Person in Need or more if they want.

Collaborate

Though assessment and mentoring will take place at various locations, the major focus of our Innkeepers will be to network and collaborate with other agencies and organizations that provide services to those in need, placing the homeless person on a track to improve their circumstances.

We are a Christ-Centered, non-denominational, faith-based ministry. We are committed to ensuring that anyone involved in Samaritan’s Grace ministry will not only hear the gospel, but have it lived before them in action.
